Difference Between Demo and Live Accounts
The trading conditions of the demo account are basically consistent with the live account, including spreads, leverage, product quotes, etc.
However, there are some differences from live accounts:
- Demo accounts run in a virtual environment with lower quote frequency than live accounts;
- No slippage or delays will occur, not fully reflecting real market execution conditions;
Therefore, performance in a demo account does not represent that the same trading results can be achieved in a live account.
Can I withdraw from a demo account?
